Confluence Ministries is facilitating the collaboration of over 60 churches in the Denver Metro area.  The mission of 1 Church Metro Denver is to mobilize Christian volunteers for prayer and humble acts of service, in order to be a tangible blessing and credible witness for Jesus Christ to the community.  Follow the link to learn more about our first prayer/outreach initiative related to the Democratic National Convention.

Extreme Community Makeover
Since March 29^th there have been over 30 different churches, including 1,000 volunteers, working together with Extreme Community Makeover. Check out the website for more information on how you can be involved.

1^st "Baseball in the City" camp
Wednesday, August 6^th, marked the end of our first  "Baseball in the City" camp at Cheltenham Elementary. We had over 25 kids from the neighborhood come and join us in this 3-day camp. Pastor Scott Applegate, along with Faith Bible Chapel, provided coaches and volunteers to help care for, and also demonstrated the love of God in a very tangible manner. They topped off the week by going to the Rockies game scheduled for Thursday August 7th. This was a treat for many of the kids since it was their first time attending a professional baseball game.
