Con"flue*ence, n. [L. confluentia] The act of flowing together; the meeting or junction of two or more streams; the place of meeting.
Our mission is to bring together the diverse streams of the Body of Christ, with their talents and resources, to serve our local and global communities with the love of Jesus. Through strategic City Impact, practical Community Development, and compassionate World Outreach, we endeavor to see God glorified and lives changed. The role of Confluence Ministries is to be a catalyst to facilitate and support these efforts through networking, collaboration, hands-on training and experience.
"But my life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus the work of telling others the Good News about God's wonderful kindness and love." Acts 20:24
This is our call...to help mobilize the church outside the four walls to reach our local and global communities with the love of Christ through practical acts of kindness and sharing. We are committed to serving our cities and communities around the world by coming together as His community of grace extended.
Jesus said, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8
As Confluence Ministries we strive to be a witness as the Body of Christ coming together serving our cities, communites and nations with cross-cultural, inter-denominational, inter-generational, compassionate teams.

The Components to the Mission

Jude and Cindy Del Hierro are natives of Colorado and have been in ministry for over 25 years, twelve of those years as founding associate pastors of an inner-city church. Jude serves in the areas of worship and outreach, and Cindy in the ministries of prayer, women, and healing for the relationally and sexually broken. Together with a team of volunteers from several churches, they founded Confluence Ministries. They bring experience, connections, passion and a Biblical basis for networking the local and global church for practical servanthood. The Del Hierro's live where they have served for many years, in inner-city Denver, and have three children and eight grandchildren.

The Confluence Building at 1400 Quitman St.
In 2003, a former synagogue and yeshiva in a Jewish and Hispanic neighborhood became available as a home base for outreach. Transformation from an abandoned building to a vibrant ministry center is nearly complete. Hundreds of volunteers have donated their time and resources to make the building a welcome place to serve the community.
We are in the middle of the last phase of reconstruction which includes a complete kitchen renovation. Excitement is growing while the plans and implementation are underway. Please consider donating to this worthwhile project. We can smell the cinnamon rolls now!
